Our Sunshades are fabricated with a 3-layered (4-gauge thick) Mylar material. The top layer is the color "Smoke", the center layer is "Silver" and the bottom layer is "Smoke". The center transparent aluminum (silver) layer reflects heat.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not install our Sunshades onto windows that have Low-E gas. The center layer of the Mylar Sunshade is aluminum and will "electrically" react to the gas causing problems with the glass.
