What we collect, and why
Everything below is information you give us, plus basic technical data and the analytics described below. We don’t buy data about you or combine it with other sources.

A few outside services help run the website. We don’t share your estimate request with them.

Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and an approximate location. Google Ads measures whether visits from our ads lead to calls or estimate requests, and Google may use your visit to show you our ads later. Both set cookies.

When you use the Awning Studio, your photo is sent to OpenAI to generate the fabric preview, under OpenAI’s API data policy.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (503) 226-2761 or email sales@rosecityawning.com. We may need to confirm it’s you before acting, and we may keep information we need for an active project, warranty or service records, or where the law requires it.
Oregon’s Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses that handle the data of 100,000 or more Oregon consumers a year, or 25,000 or more while earning a quarter of their revenue from selling data. Whether or not that law applies to a business our size, we honor these requests.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics (names beginning with _ga) to count visits, and from Google Ads (such as _gcl_au) to measure whether our ads lead to calls or estimate requests. They load after the page has displayed. The embedded Google Map on our contact page and our Shopify flag store are run by those companies and may use cookies under their own policies. To limit any of this, block or clear cookies in your browser, install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, or turn off ad personalization in My Ad Center.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, form submissions are protected against spam bots, and access to estimate requests is limited to our staff and the people who maintain our website. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive information through the website or by email.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning awning, shade and flag projects. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, for example by adding a new outside service, we’ll update this page first and change the “Last updated” date.
